'Metáforas Visuälis' is a collection of sensations, feelings, humor and demands, which will open on Friday, August 28, at 7:00 p.m., and can be visited until September 23.
The Estepona City Council informs that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host from next Friday, August 28, the painting exhibition of the artist Francis J. BenÃtez.
The exhibition, entitled 'Metáforas Visuälis', consists of 23 photographic works and 6 sculptures, and will be inaugurated at 7:00 p.m., and can be visited until September 23 from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with free access.
Francis J. BenÃtez (Francisco José Sánchez BenÃtez) has photography as one of his great passions.
In 1987, with his first SLR, a Praktica Super TL 1000 and working in a dark room, it was when he began to discover the magic of photography. Later, during his analogical age, photography was his way of documenting and supporting himself for his other great passion, painting.
In 1996 he began to delve into the world of painting, and a few years later, with the arrival of the digital age and many years traveled since he began with Praktica, he launched his first creative photographic exhibition.
At present he is focused on the conceptual, metaphorical, rhetorical and, at times, surreal image. "I enjoy working without the use of Photoshop, digital montages or any other type of manipulation, but creating meticulously and in detail, from real objects, settings and atmospheres, photographs that provoke us to think and feel".
