HOUSE OF THE TEJERINAS ESTEPONA

Exhibition of photographs "between shukrãn and jã‹rã‹jã‹f"

Estepona City Council reports that the House of Las Tejerinas will host, from next Tuesday, February 4, 2020, the exhibition of photographs 'Between SHUKRÁN Y JËRËJËF' by the artist Martín Corradini. The sale of snapshots will benefit the Malaga NGO Nakupenda Sana, which in Swahili means "I love you so much", and which aims to improve the situation in which most women and girls live in the Gambia.

This exhibition covers a total of thirty images of black and white and color portraits, taken by the author on a trip to Gambia in 2017 and Morocco in 2018. In each country were 15 days of crossing, touring their towns, cities and roads , all done “side by side” with the NGO Nakupenda Sana, which allowed him to connect more closely and sensitively with the locals of different regions.

Each photo is a story, it is a one way trip. Women, men and children are the heart of Africa, in this exhibition you will find sad, cheerful, angry and carefree looks, of humility and wisdom.

The exhibition will be opened on day 4 at 8:00 p.m., and can be visited until February 18 from Tuesday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free access. Closed Monday.

Martín Corradini was born in Mar del Plata, 400 kilometers from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He arrived in Spain in 2006, and after many trips between Argentina and Spain he stayed permanently in Fuengirola. There he trained as a photographer and studied the higher degree in Audiovisuals.

The photograph found it fully. Just turned 30, he began taking professional photographs and, today, after a decade, says he doesn't know how to do anything better.

He defines himself as a lover and passionate about the image and seeks to express sensations, experiences and unique moments through photography.
