Estepona actor Luis Mariano López brings the tragicomedy 'A lucky man' to the stage of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center

The actor from Estepona will perform the famous work on Friday, May 20, at 8:00 p.m.

The Estepona City Council informs that the actor from Estepona, Luis Mariano López, will bring to the stage of the Padre Manuel Cultural Center the tragicomedy 'A lucky man', written by the famous playwright José Luis Alonso de Santos. It will be next Friday, May 20, at 8:00 p.m.

This tragicomedy focuses on the character of Fernando San Juan, a 60-year-old theater actor, who is forced to be on stage by the letter he receives from a deceased former colleague of his, Aniano Peña, which becomes the reason to be from the work.

In "A lucky man", the leading actor, breaking the fourth wall, makes the viewer participate in his miseries, fears, desires and dreams. It uses both tragedy and comedy, going through classical Greek texts, by Zorrilla, Calderón, Lope, Shakespeare, Pirandello, among others.

Luis Mariano López, creator of the first professional theater company in Estepona, will take the play to national stages.
