The City Council schedules nine free dance shows for summer nights'21
Plaza Antonia Guerrero, Plaza ABC, Plaza Fuerzas Armadas, Calle Villa and Parque El Calvario will be the summer dance stages.
The Estepona City Council informs that different public spaces, such as Plaza Antonia Guerrero, Plaza ABC, Plaza Fuerzas Armadas, Calle Villa and Parque El Calvario, will be the scene throughout the summer of dance performances by dance students, mostly, from the different municipal academies located in the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, framed in the 'Cultural Summer 2021' program, and which includes numerous activities aimed at all types of audiences.
From July 13 to September 4, a total of nine free performances will take place:
Tuesday, July 13, at 9:30 p.m., in Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Performance by the Spanish and Flamenco Dance Classroom of the Culture delegation, directed by Lourdes Barrientos, and the Ballet and Modern Dance Classroom of Lourdes Bazán, director of the Andalusian School of Flamenco (EFA).
Tuesday, July 20, at 9:30 p.m., in Plaza ABC. Performance by the students of the "Mónica Peña" Dance Academy. The students, all of them retired people, will perform a varied show of Ballroom Dances, Flamenco, Sevillanas and other Regional Dances.
Tuesday, July 27, at 9:30 p.m., in Plaza ABC. The MT Dance School will present the “Estate Show†gala, a modern dance show with lyrical parts, Latin influences, classical technique and, of course, with elements of Spanish dance, surrounded by an elegant atmosphere, in which Beginning and professional students will be overflowing with talent and expressiveness, under the direction of Martina Tessaro.
Friday, July 30, at 9:30 p.m., in the Plaza Fuerzas Armadas. Flamenco show by the students of the Peña Flamenca de Estepona, under the direction of dance teacher Antonio Trujillo and guitarist José Fernández.
Tuesday, August 3, at 9:30 p.m., in Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Performance by the students of the Ballroom Dance, Cabaret and Oriental Dance courses of the Culture delegation, directed by Marivà RodrÃguez, and of the Modern Dance and Flamenco group, with Claudia RamÃrez “La Marivillaâ€.
Tuesday, August 10, at 9:30 p.m., on Calle Villa. Performance of the Workshop "= ES" of Dance Therapy of the delegation of Social Services and Social Integration, directed by Inmaculada Chacón.
Tuesday, August 17, at 9:30 p.m., in El Calvario Park. Choreographic exhibition of Flamenco, Spanish Classical, Modern Dance, Classical Ballet… of the Dance Studio directed by the dancer Gemma Sánchez “La Milanaâ€.
Tuesday, August 24, at 9:30 p.m., in El Calvario Park. Performance of the Spanish and Flamenco Dance Classroom of the Culture delegation, directed by Eva Alarcón, and the Modern Ballet and Dance Classroom of Laura and Sara Perea.
Saturday, September 4, at 9:00 p.m., in El Calvario Park. Performance by the students of "El Taller del Arte", a consolidated creative space in Estepona where they can enjoy art in all possible aspects, directed by dancers José Franco and Inmaculada Carmona.
