The Science Fair is part of the dissemination project "In the footsteps of Ibn Al-Baytar", which has been carried out since 2006 in Benalmádena (Malaga). Experiments and activities prepared by more than 500 student researchers are shown throughout the course.
The objective of the Fair is to publicize the figure and work of Ibn Al-Baytar, a distinguished botanist from the 12th century born in the town of Benalmádena, as well as to encourage the students of the educational centers that attend it to discover, investigate and experiment with science.
