Estepona creates kids 2020
The City Council celebrates this Sunday the 'Estepona Crea Kids' 2020 Contest, in the form of dance, with 10,000 euros in prizes.
It will be on Sunday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m., in the Felipe VI Auditorium, complying with all the measures of the health authorities. This contest wants to recognize and promote the new values of this discipline with 10,000 euros distributed in seven prizes, according to modality.
Estepona City Council will hold the VI “Estepona CREA†Contest, which this year is dedicated, for the second time, to children and young people between 4 and 16 years old in the modality of dance, individual and collective categories. The gala will take place next Sunday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m., in the Felipe VI Auditorium. This initiative aims to recognize new values and promote culture within young people.
The Deputy Mayor of the Sociocultural Area, Begoña Ortiz, has stated that this edition has been convened in order to promote scenic projects that highlight originality, quality, creativity, innovation and experimentation, as well as the construction and staging of their own choreographies .
For her part, the Councilor for Culture, Macarena Diánez, explained that the best performances of the contest will be chosen by a jury made up of people of recognized prestige, whose evaluations must meet, among others, criteria of creativity, originality, artistic quality and technical, and conceptual innovation.
The finalist dance stage proposals will be able to be enjoyed by the public during the gala, where the new values of Dance will be rewarded with 10,000 euros distributed in seven prizes, according to modality:
Collective:
• First Prize: € 3,000 + Trophy
• Second Prize: € 1,000
• Third Prize: € 500
Individual:
• First Prize: € 2,000 + Trophy
• Second Prize: € 1,000
• Third Prize: € 500
• Revelation Prize: € 2,000 + Trophy, which can be awarded to both a group and an individual participant.
