The City Council will open the registration for the 2020/2021 Culture courses and workshops on Monday
The municipal delegation of Culture offers online access for registrations in courses and workshops 2020/2021.
An anti-covid protocol has been prepared, carried out by the municipal department of occupational hazards, to guarantee the safety of students and teachers.
The Estepona City Council informs that next Monday, September 21, the registration period for the 2020/2021 Culture Courses and Workshops will open, offering a wide variety of disciplines for all ages. The period will remain open until October 2. Classes will begin at the beginning of October of this year 2020 and will end at the end of June 2021.
The deputy mayor responsible for the Sociocultural Area, Begoña Ortiz, has highlighted that this year, due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19, an action protocol has been prepared, carried out by the municipal department of occupational risks, to guarantee maximum student and teacher safety. Thus, the number of students allowed in classrooms will be, in most of them, six students, although in some classrooms the presence of eight or ten students is authorized.
Likewise, Begoña Ortiz has indicated that this year the municipal delegation of Culture offers, for the first time, an online access (https://sites.google.com/view/cursoscultura20-21/p%C3%A1gina-principal) for the Pre-registration for the 2020/21 Courses and Workshops to help curb the spread of the coronavirus, avoiding unnecessary travel, eliminating crowds and maintaining all the established prevention measures. Pre-registrations can also be made by phone, by calling the number 952809000; extensions 1402 and 1405, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Likewise, the deputy mayor responsible for the Sociocultural Area, has reported on the aid offered by the City Council to groups that are in a situation of greater vulnerability and who are registered in Estepona. Thus, all Culture courses and workshops will have a 50% reduction in their cost for retired students who receive only the non-contributory pension and prove that the income of the family unit does not exceed 1.3 the Minimum Interprofessional Salary (SMI) , for long-term unemployed students and students belonging to family units in the same situation, whose income does not exceed 1.3 SMI, and for people who prove a disability greater than 33%.
Students enrolled at the Estepona Adult Center, Solfeggio students who enroll in Piano, youth correspondents accredited by the municipal Youth delegation, and students who are part of a unit will also benefit from this 50% discount. large family. Likewise, students of the Municipal Band workshop who do their internships in the same Band will have a 100% discount and a 25% discount for those who are enrolled in more than one course of the municipal delegation of Culture. Crafts Area. - Bobbin lace with Rosario Amate; Drawing (Children's and Adult Workshops) with RocÃo GarÃn; Canvas Painting, Tiffany and Polychrome with Lina MarÃa Barrientos; and Lace of Bolillos with Isabel Mena, registrations in this last year will be formalized at the 24 Hours Sports Foundation.
Music Area. - Flamenco Guitar with Paco Javier Jimeno; Percussion with Chico Fargas; Musical and Instrumental Training Workshop of the Municipal Music Band with José Antonio López Camacho; and Solfeggio and Piano with JoaquÃn Castellano.
Dance area. - Classical-Flamenco Dance with Eva Alarcón; Classical-Flamenco Dance and Preparation for the Conservatory with Lourdes Barrientos; Flamenco Dance, Castanets and Latin Rhythms with Maribel GarcÃa; and Ballroom Dances, Latin Rhythms and Standard with Marivà RodrÃguez.

Other courses. - (By awarding Culture classrooms or agreements): Art History, Learning to Sing, English in Cancelada, French (French Alliance) and Dance Therapy (Social Welfare).
All scheduled courses and workshops must be paid in advance quarters, after registration. The bonuses will not be cumulative.
