FELIPE VI THEATER ESTEPONA

The felipe vi auditorium begins the programming of a summer cinema on the outside terrace

Estepona City Council reports that film screenings will return to the city from June 12 at the Felipe VI Auditorium facilities.

The Teatro Auditorio and Proyecfilm have launched this open-air cinema-terrace initiative, which will offer top-quality film programming, and whose billboard will be extended to the outdoor facilities of the venue, to pass in September inside the Auditorium, where Two theaters with stable programming will be enabled, making it one of the first cinemas in Andalusia and Spain to begin its activity.

The Deputy Mayor of the Sociocultural Area, Begoña Ortiz, has stated that, given the exceptional situation, the summer cinema constitutes a cultural and family leisure activity that guarantees both the distance between attendees, and compliance with other measures and recommendations of the health authorities ”.

For her part, the councilor attached to the delegation of Culture, Macarena Diánez, has shown her support for this initiative, which she considers "the best way to enjoy a cultural and family leisure activity this summer."

In this way, the summer cinema will offer a continuous program from June 12, throughout the summer season, and will continue from September 13 in the two spaces that will be set up in the main room of the Auditorium and Room 2. The price of tickets will be € 6, general admission, and € 4, the day of the spectator.

Online sale of tickets is already enabled, on the theater's website www.tafestepona.com, with a special promotion to celebrate the opening of the new summer cinema, for which tickets can be purchased at € 4 to redeem once the billboard is published, the details of which will begin to be revealed from next week.
