This sample is intended to represent a part of the creation of some of the artists who live, work or have worked in the Malaga region of La AxarquÃa in recent years. Thirteen magnificent creators, 8 painters and 5 sculptors who settled between the 80s and 90s in the Sierra de la AxarquÃa, although from different backgrounds, both from Spain and abroad, each with its own style and creative formula, but with a denominator common: all sought their inspiration in this land of the Malaga region.
High school teachers, directors of exhibition halls, foreigners based in the countryside, students of great painters of the region and who participate in the social and cultural life of these towns.
Participating artists: Rafael Alvarado, Rosalind Burns, Pedro Casermeyro, Fernando de la Rosa, Robert Harding, Sabina Huber, Carolina Krabbe, Chema Lumbreras, José Melguizo, Sebastián Navas, Oliver Perry, Cayetano Romero and José Sigai.
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00.-13.30 and from 17.00-19.30.
Sundays and holidays from 11.00-13.30
Closed Monday. Free entrance.
