Pictorial exhibition "lights, experiences and reflections" by andrã©s gã³mez gã³mez
Estepona City Council informs that Room 1 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host the exhibition “Lights, Experiences and Reflections†from next Wednesday, February 19, at 7:00 p.m. by the marbellà artist Andrés Gómez Gómez.
The exhibition will consist of eight pictorial works in which the author shows how he handles light with very different formats, and can be visited until March 4 from Tuesday to Friday, from 08:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 09 : 00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free access. Closed Monday.
Andrés Gómez Gómez is a painter “since he has memories,†he says. As a child, due to his hobby, he was given canvases, paintings, easels ... Over the years, his self-taught training has been fixed in visits to his favorite cadres and teachers, such as Rembrandt, Velázquez, Hooper, Schools of Russian realism, Sorolla and other classic masters of painting.
In them he sought the domain of light and colors on the surfaces, using his oil brushstrokes. He acknowledges that the movements of the twentieth century have not caught him. And that is still present in his work, regardless of the technique he uses.
