Manuel Franco Barón (Seville, 1960) is a disciple of his uncle, Manolo Barón, and the teacher Antonio de Osuna. Subsequently, he continued his training at the academy of Matilde Coral, with which he debuted at age 15 at the so-called Festivals of Spain.
As a concert performer, he has participated in festivals such as Tarbes International Guitar Reunions (France), Biennial of Flamenco Art of Seville or Flamenco Summit of Madrid. At the same time, he has performed at various international guitar festivals such as those in Córdoba, Stockholm, Istanbul, Freiburg or Tokyo.
In the beginning he was the usual guitarist of artists such as Antonio Mairena, Naranjito de Triana, Calixto Sánchez or Manuel Mairena. In addition, he stands out as a composer and shows his album Aljibe, published in 1986.
