The inauguration of the pictorial exhibition will take place on May 13, at 6:00 p.m., and can be visited until June 1.
The Estepona City Council informs that the plastic artist Jesús Villalba Bayona (Villi), will present the individual exhibition 'Different' this Friday, May 13, at 6:00 p.m., at the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flowers.
The exhibition consists of 12 large-format works made, very laboriously, on solid wood painted with gouache. It can be visited until June 1 from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free access.
Freedom, color and aesthetics define the Cartameño painter Jesús Villalba. Actor and Audiovisual technician, he began in the world of art in a self-taught way. The start was late and intense. After a period of learning and observing important galleries in cities like Rome, Paris or London, he learned to love art. To this day, his work has toured different countries around the world and shines in various private collections.
Jesús Villalba Bedoya (Villi) was born in Cártama, Málaga, in 1968. He has a degree in Dramatic Art from ESAD in Málaga. Superior Technician in Audiovisuals at IORTVE Madrid.
In 2013 he exhibited for the first time in his hometown. Since then, he has shown his work in places such as Álora, Murcia, Málaga, Melilla, Weinheim and Stolzenhagen, Berlin (Germany), Phoenix (USA), Guadalajara (Mexico), or Bogotá (Colombia).
After Estepona, his next exhibition will be in Seville, in December, at the headquarters of Canal Sur Televisión.
