The City Council once again supports local artists through the '100% Estepona' initiative

The circuit includes a total of eight free shows by Estepona artists of different musical styles

The Estepona City Council informs that, after the success of the first edition, the program of the "Summer Cultural 2021" also includes this year the circuit of free concerts "100% Estepona" to support the cultural sector, with a program of activities of summer in which the artists and production companies of the municipality take center stage.

The second edition of 100% ESTEPONA includes a total of eight shows by Estepona artists of different musical styles. The performances will be held every Thursday, at 10:00 p.m., in different open-air enclaves of the city and will have a limited capacity, complying with the regulations and recommendations of the health authorities.

• Thursday, July 15, at Plaza Rocío Bazán: MAFFERRA. Silvio Mafferra is an Argentine-Italian guitarist, singer and composer, based on the Costa del Sol. He makes music, fusing a European electronic base with Latin punk rock.

• Thursday, July 22, at the Orquidario Botanical Park: ALICIA BENÍTEZ. The cantaora Alicia Benítez sings various flamenco versions to life, as well as her own songs. She will be accompanied on guitar by Manuel Peralta Flores; the drawer by Marote Jesús Román; Robert Chacón, at the piano; and Belén Benítez and Laya Benítez to the choirs.

• Thursday, July 29, at Plaza Paco de Lucía: MILKY BREAD. Milky Bread Music Band, the transgressive group that shakes the foundations of “panaero” rock. Aerospace sound, to "distribute milk like bread" and enjoy a rock that grandfather and child like.

• Thursday, August 5, at Plazoleta Ortiz: J. LUKE and Odiho. The new and old school come together to give a show with classic rap, with rappers from Estepona J. LUKE on the mic, and Odiho on cymbals, as well as several guests.

• Thursday, August 12, at Plaza ABC: ANA GUERRERO. The "Ana Guerrero" Dance Academy presents the flamenco show "Inflorescence", a show inspired by living nature, which teaches us that we can flourish as long as we have a soul.

• Thursday, August 19, in the Plaza Paco de Lucía: NOELIA QUIÑONES. Self-taught singer born in Estepona with an incredible and personal voice, perfect for all styles: Soul, Funky, Disco, House ... He will be accompanied by Jerry Erola's live sax, a duo that will not leave anyone indifferent.

• Thursday, August 26, at the Orquidario Botanical Park: PEPE FERNÁNDEZ. The guitarist José Fernández directs a flamenco show in which some of the styles from the varied repertoire of Flamenco are performed, accompanied by singing and dancing by new flamenco values in Estepona.

• Thursday, September 9, in the Plaza de Las Flores: GASPAR RODRÍGUEZ. The show “Pureza de lo Nuevo” is a harmonic journey through the Palos del Flamenco that will transport us to the purity of ancient sounds, from the sound of the new fields opened in the world of the guitar.
